Went out on a 3 day overland trip out to West Branch State Park. Took the back roads out there & back. No off road but some the paved roads was pretty beat up. Used it as a dress rehearsal for our bigger trip in September. Can’t wait

I love West Branch State Park. It’s out side Ravenna, OH in NE Ohio. Has full power hook ups, with electricity Also has clean shower houses which is very nice. Beautiful lake with a small beach on the Campground side of the park. The bigger beach is on far side of lake which is fun little drive...

Got my roof rack installed on the Explorer this weekend. Next weekend is the first trip with a full load out. Heading out to West Branch State Park, here in NE Ohio. I will post pictures of it fully loaded up next weekend.

I’m hoping to install comms inside. Debating on CB or MGRS radio. Definitely doing a roof rack to expand my gear capability. Then general organization of my existing stuff.

Eddie was traded in a few months back due to some bad under side rust issues. But I’m starting a new project. I’m building up an 2018 Ford Explorer aka Airborne. Wish me luck this is going to be a hard build due to lack of parts. But I hope to make it worthy of its name.

I’m back I had to get trade “Eddie” my old 2008 Explorer in & get a new rig. But I’m back and taking on the task of making an overland rig out of an 2018 Ford Explorer. I know this is unusual but that’s why I love it. Support and encouragement will be welcomed. Pics and a tour will follow.

Due to some unfortunate turn of personal events I am canceling the event. I have not been able to complete planning of it & give it the time you all deserve.

I'll be doing a route recon in a few weeks so I will know for sure then. But I think a Mazda 6 should have no problem. I understand then milage issue with you coming up from KY.

@Brian Kimball I think your Subaru will have no problem. the route is mostly paved/dirt roads so u should do fine.
