Well I guess I am not doing too bad with my old 90 3/4 ton. I guess its hard to get a 4 wheel drive 3 or 4 ton brick to get much over 10 MPG.

My problem with the Toyota is that for the same money as the Xterra the 4Runners have twice the miles and are a few years older. I get more vehicle for my money with the Xterra.

Good suggestion, but for the compact size, the gas mileage is no better than the bigger Xterra. AN the Xterra has better aftermarket support. I may have to up my budget and look at a 4Runner.

Cool, worked good. Salt and vinegar is used a lot in the restoration of coins. It can also work on other metal things to remove oxidation/corrosion. It is amazing what simple household supplies can do. Simple things you have on you shelf or under the sink have way more uses than you think.

Don't forget the old Chrysler Slant 6. While not as common in the trucks, it was used. Mostly 1/2 tons and fleet stuff. Those engine were bullet proof. It was a very popular engine for Taxi companies due to the reliability of it. Not big on power, but they sure could go the distance.
