This is the first I’m hearing of it for PA. But it sounds like the system NJ has. I can’t remember the fee for NJ, but it is between 5-20$. I think for most people it’s enough that if they spend the money they’ll be there. But I think this is a result of the states trying to make everything...

    Peters Mill Run 6/2-3

PMR is a nice trail. I’m not able to join this time but it’s a trail I definitely wouldn’t mind doing it again. I gotta say though Union Springs/ Dunkle Hollow road (more commonly known as Flagpole Knob) is about 1 hour south of PMR and every time I’ve been in the area I’ve done it and always...

Appalachian Mountains and Valley - Experiences East of the Mississippi

@Stormglove I paid for the Appalachian Byway routes and my wife and I did all sections in PA,NJ and NY. It was almost ALL highway/ populated areas. In fact the route through NJ and NY was the same route we took when we used google maps from the PA/NJ border to Peekskill, NY. I think whoever made...

Hey there! Looks like you’re in Nj. I would book a camp site at Hawkins bridge or Godfrey bridge in the pine barrens. You can drive and hike etc as much as you want. It’s right along he TNJT. Looking forward to hearing what you guys ended up doing and how it went

NJ ORV - Soil Retention - Carbon? What Da?!!! They're Serious!

@lhoffm4 I don’t know you but I love you lol @NJCoastal thanks for sharing this. These people ruin everything, been screaming the world is gonna end due to climate change for the last 60 plus years. Trying to take away the last place we have in NJ. They’ll probably end up paving all the roads...

North Country (upper New York State)

Having just got back from the Adirondacks and growing up in the Catskills I strongly recommend a stay in Moose River Plains. From what I’ve seen it is a solid choice in any season (if you’re ok with camping in snow). It is a vast and scenic area in itself but also about 2-3 hours from Whiteface...

Big White Truck Cross-Country - Atlantic Coast Edition

I don’t think there’s a bad site in MRP, but there are some epic ones. On my trip up there I think my best shots were in MRP. A good 5-7 days could be enjoyed there

Big White Truck Cross-Country - Atlantic Coast Edition

Oh wow! I was camped at moose river plains 28sep-1oct. We went through tipper lake and went to Whiteface on the 30th (Thursday) It would’ve been cool if we bumped into each other! Really cool trip and thread you got going here!

Media Thread: Where did you go this summer?

Rafted down the Delaware River, camped out overlooking the valley in central PA which led to waking up above the clouds and had a relaxing dinner with the wife around White’s Bog in NJ.
