What makes a car capable enough to join the OB trips?

Pardon my ignorance. I had no idea Subaru spacers worked in this fashion. Learned something today. -CP TACO OB #2376

What makes a car capable enough to join the OB trips?

It gives more of an appearance of leveling out your body, but it doesn't do a lot for undercarriage clearance. With all the rain we've got the last few months, I read a few times it's deep. Though I can't verify if it's snorkel deep. But definitely want to be safe. -CP TACO OB #2376

What makes a car capable enough to join the OB trips?

Body spacers aren't going to give you clearance from the ground, only space above your tire. Spending a bit more on springs/shocks should give that to you, if you want it. Having said that, 7" is not a small amount, and I'd say is very capable. Just memorize where your low points are, and...

Very cool series of circumstances that brought you to this build. Really like how it's coming out. Have fun in VA, drink lots of O'CONNOR and Reaver Beach brewing! Maybe I'll spot you on a set when you're back in LA! -CP TACO OB #2376

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Made up a quick set of bush cables/limb risers. Super easy, no hassle install, not permanent whatsoever. Going to take another stab at these brackets. Will shave them down to a far more low-profile shape. Probably just leave a 1/4" above that hole, rounded, smoothed and painted. Here's...

I found it! Had to dig through some old hard drives, but I found the truck that made me want to explore on 4 wheels! This was from 2004-2006ish. Can't really remember when.

    Compressor with air tools. Really?

-:smilingimp:resurrecting:imp:- Has anyone ever seen a thread where they made their own portable version of this twin ARB compressor? I've got one, and don't have room to permanently install it - so I wanted to put it into a Storm Case (about the same size as the one ARB sells), and power it...

Have you ever used your fuel in your Geri Cans?

I keep 5gals in my truck and 32oz on my motorcycle at all times. I've used all of them, multiple times. The first week I had my Gerry can, I used it 3x on other people than myself. Mostly at work, but I never paid for the fuel that went inside it. Now I keep it full for those just in case...

    Strange Encounters in the Woods...

Stoddard Wells/Johnson Valley (about 8mi into the desert), about 6-7yrs ago. I was riding shotgun in a friends truck, we were leading a small convoy of 3 vehicles to a hill we've dubbed "Christmas Tree Hill" - which is back into an valley, then up a steep, cliff-sided shale road. We were coming...
