Looks good. How do you like running no doors with the hard top? I recently started having issues with my soft top, so my hard top is on this summer for the first time since I've owned a Wrangler. I haven't taken the doors off with the hard top yet, figured there would be a lot of buffeting with...
My wife and I will be doing the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail this fall. We haven't done it before, so for those of you that have, if you have any thoughts, suggestions, insights, etc on places we should stay or see along the way that would be great. I've seen some information that we would...
I don't run mud flaps because they'll get torn off. I know people do, but you typically want to look into some of the more flexible ones so that they can flex when they get into obstacles. I do wish I didn't have snow/salt/mud/gravel/rocks thrown up the side of my Jeep, but it's scratched from...
I have a 2015. Like I had said, I'm seeing the volts through Torque Pro, which is ran off of the OBD2 port to my tablet. I haven't looked into the load with a meter or anything, but I do have a battery tester that also doubles as an alternator tester, so I could check it with that too, and see...
So on the trip this weekend Torque Pro was giving me constant readings from 14.7-14.9 volts for the entire trip. Hovered mostly between 14.7 and 14.8, however for the first couple of hours it was at 14.9.
This thread has me thinking. I also have the Genesis Dual Battery system. I've used Torque Pro to see what my alternator is putting out (can't remember off the top of my head but will see it again this weekend and will update accordingly). The isolator has a little red light on the top that...
I'm the Member Rep for Minnesota. We had a meet and greet last month, and we're working on getting more stuff together. There are trails up in Northern Minnesota, and some in other parts of the state, I believe some of the trails I've gotten were from here but can't remember for sure. If you...
I've been adding to my tool bag with Snap-On bought through eBay to save a significant amount of money. I've also been buying some of the Tekton stuff, and I've been impressed with it so far. It's also significantly less expensive than Snap-On.
I can't justify that price. I'd like to try one out, but at $350 that's a hard no from me. I'd rather spend that money on a Partner Steel stove, and even that's a tough sell for me.
Loving my Traverse as well. I wear it any time I'm travelling, and the storm alarm is helpful too! I haven't even begun to use most of the features it has, but I do love it.
What if you go to Tepui or CVTs site and see if they have authorized retailers around your area? I think REI started selling RTTs, but could be mistaken.
A buddy of mine has a rack, and a tonneau cover. His tonneau cover keeps things dry, while he has the rack for his RTT. He can remove the rack when he doesn't need it, and still has full access to the bed on the truck. This is on a Frontier.
