I've got two Hero 4s. I used the sticky mounts they came with to mount to my windshield and on the outside of the rear window on the passenger side, haven't had a problem with them. Haven't used them in a while, but that may well change soon. I have a suction cup mount but haven't used it in a...
I should probably start figuring that out. Have had a lot of stuff going on lately and it's not looking like it'll be slowing down anytime soon, so maybe end of April I can get something together.
The Border 2 Border Trail has been going through legislation for the last couple of years. A lot of what Minnesota has are trails in the state and national forests.
I had KMs factory on my JKU and they were terrible in the snow/ice/rain even. I now have KO2s so that's good to know about the KM3s. They look really good too which doesn't hurt!
About a dozen people showed up yesterday at the meet and greet. We talked about trips we've done in the past, what there is to do around Minnesota, maps and map systems, then we braved the cold to check out everyone's vehicles. Was great to meet new people, and have a fun discussion. Now I'll...
As a reminder, this is tomorrow! I've gotten about 10 responses in a different group on Facebook, and less than 5 on the OLB-Midwest Facebook group. Not sure if any of those include anyone here, but I'm expecting to see around 5-12 people based on these numbers. Will be good to put faces and...
We will be having a Meet and Greet on Saturday January 11th at Hayes Public House in Buffalo. We will be meeting from 1-3 (I have to leave at 3 but you're more than welcome to stay later). I have posted this in the Midwest Facebook Group as well. Please reply either here or there if you plan to...
So I just confirmed with the owner of Hayes' Public House in Buffalo that we are good to go for January 11th from 1-3. They will be open to the public, but are happy to have us. I posted the event on the Facebook group, and will be setting up the event here tonight.
Will be reaching out to the brewery today, hoping to get things finalized by tonight and get it posted up. Tentatively it's going to be at Hayes Public House in Buffalo from 1-3 (I will be leaving around 3) on Saturday January 11th. Once finalized I will also post this on the Facebook group.
I haven't heard from the person who suggested Buffalo. Just sent him a PM to see if we can still go to that place, otherwise I will need to look for another place.
You don't have to join the FB group. There are members from the entire Midwest on the group, so it may be easier to find other trips and meet ups going on there though.
I'm thinking if we do the 11th, I have off, we can meet up around 1 or so, and disperse around 3 (or at least I will) since I...
Work has been insane for me the last couple of days, so I haven't gotten my schedule yet. Trying to get it today. I know I have something going on the evening of the 11th, but maybe early afternoon would work if I have the day off, otherwise it might be the 18th.
I still don't have my schedule for most of January. Will try to get it tomorrow from my manager so we can get stuff planned. I"m thinking the 11th as long as it works, but will confirm shortly. I will also post it on the Facebook group, so anyone that is part of the group please join the event...
Welcome to the forum! I am the Minnesota member representative for OB. Let me know if you have any questions or if there's anything I can do for you. We are currently planning a meet and greet for Minnesota members sometime in January. Trying to firm up the details, and I'll get it posted...
I've been informed that I have to go to my wife's work's Christmas party on the 11th. Still don't know my schedule for that month, but if we did it the 11th I would need it earlier in the day, or maybe the 18th if we're thinking later in the day..
I don't know my schedule for January yet, but I know the 4th I'll be busy. Maybe we can find something mostly central to everyone planning to attend. Obviously it won't be perfect, but have a place to meet up, grab something to eat and talk rigs and trips would be great.
