Prewitt Ridge works for me anyway, been wanting to scout it out for a camping trip, heck I just might drag all my gear down with me and plunk down there for the night.
Called about 4 times so far today on both numbers. Both numbers goes straight to voicemail telling me to go to www.parks.ca.gov/pbssp, which has no info on Old Coast Rd.
Was talking to a dude at TW about this and he mentioned that he tried to take Old Coast on New Year's and it was closed.
This page also has Old Coast Rd listed as closed (last updated 01/09/2018): https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/lpnf/alerts-notices/?cid=stelprdb5347980
I'll make a call to State...
Thanks for this. I was just looking at all the different compressors and trying to figure out what works best for me and then I stumbled onto this. I think I'm going to go with this setup. I don't like "single-use" equipment and this scratches that itch since you can use the compressor and...
I'm kinda stupid when it comes to knives. This is just the stuff that lives in the rig at the moment (not including the SOG Rescue Axe and Cold Steel Barong Machete that lives behind the rear seats).
Busier than I expected for February but it was great. We reserved Site 43 and 44 in the Lakeview campground and we only had a couple of neighbors in our cul-de-sac. Nice and quiet, Rangers drove by a couple of times.
Hey I was just camping at Coyote Lake this past weekend. Water levels are low. Spoke to a couple of fisherman walking back to their camping spot and they said fishing was crap.
Yea Im trying to reconcile all that effort vs how often I'm going to be running with people. My work schedule is off-kilter compared to most folks so I can't get out there when normal people are. Not sure I want to put in all that effort for something I'm going to use rarely. I used to be an RTO...
Probably closer to 11AM for me, if you guys aren't there I'll chase you guys down the coast.
I have a Baofeng UV-5R in the truck, but damn if I know how to use it for comms. Mostly just use it for a scanner to listen in on SJPD.
Already had plans for morning of 2/17 but trying to weasel out of it so I can tag along if you guys wouldn't mind the company. Will find out next week if I can go for sure.
You guys have any tips regarding getting dog hair out of your rig's interior? Honestly had no idea my dog shed this much until I got my new truck with an all black interior. Hair everywhere! My current remedy of going 75mph on the freeway, rolling down the windows, and letting the wind do it's...
180114 - Trail Team: (Part 3)
And that's all folks. Sound off if your rig is in here or if you were there. I only managed to meet a couple of guys since I was short on time on both events.
