    RedRyder's 2006 Tacoma SR5 and BS

Yeah I was going to do 2" on my 4Runner but found a screaming deal for 3" and I'll have steel bumpers so it may not be a full 3"

Would your overlander also become your BOV

For me I think the ability to take my vehicle on longer trips is more of a comfort if something like that did happen. Around the PNW the biggest concern is the big earthquake that is supposed to hit us so having a winch ability if needed makes me feel a bit better even though I may never need it...

Northwest - Memorial Day Weekend, WABDR (modified)

I might be interested but have to check with the "boss" to see if theres any other plans going on. It might be I meetup for only a section of the trip depending on where it ends up.

    Camping on budget

Thats a great suggestion. I tend to find DIY for camping can be hard to do but very possible. You just need to figure out a list of gear that you would need and then see what you can make yourself. If you live in a warm climate and are willing to sleep on the ground (not with a tent) then you...

Single burner or two burner on the trail?

I think it really comes down to your style of going out. Is it just you or are you going with a group/family? For simple trips look in a single backpacker style stove setup, very small and packable. If you are going with a group then a 2 burner (or more) stove is definitely going to be ideal...

I love the double cab tacomas. Cant wait to see what you do with it. Depending on what you want to do with it the 2" lift is a good amount but I always feel like the tacomas look better with a 3".

    cbechtold's Expedition Tacoma Build

Love these dual cab tacoma's. I wish they had enough room for my whole family and I would go that direction. Down the road if I dont go with a new 4Runner it would be a new Tacoma.

    2017 Tundra SR5 Build

Great looking start! If you like that setup you should definitely look at building some drawers for the bottom for ease of organization but love the start! As for the wheels I personally love the 17" rock warriors and have some friends who have a ton of crawling experience that went with those...

    4Runner Owners Registry

Great looking rig. I love what they did with the 5th gens. A couple of friends have them and I really like the look of the Slimline bumpers on them if you want a winch.

    Gear quality have you spoiled?

For me its not typically about how I sleep, because I ususally never sleep great whether at a BnB or camp mattress, but rather where I am staying and what I have planned. I feel like if im excited to go do whatever activities I have planned then I will be invigorated to do that. Most of that is...
