I've had this in the Jeep for a long time, but never really 'highlighted' it - I get a lot of people asking about some of my simple & cheap/low cost mods - so here is a budget map/console light. Click through on the photo to see more details.

Moved some stuff around to make it more accessible. I used a couple strips of velcro to strap the Leatherman sheath, but had to use the cable tie to give it some extra support. Not super pretty, but these two stay quickly accessible here at all times. FYI, I also carry a Gerber multitool in my...
Finally getting some much needed down-time to work on photos, videos, etc. Thought I lost some footage of the 410XCO team on a rainy day out in Alberta from back in June of this year.
I should have said in my video "celcius" for temperature.. 15C is a nice 59F - so definitely no freezing. Now.. I have been out in extreme cold... and yes, there are challenges there with stuff freezing up.
For my @vagabondexpedition followers, you'll know that I parted ways with my roof top tent late last year. I've gone back to sleeping in the Jeep, so I'll document a few of the challenges and the modifications I'm doing to "make it work".
Follow along, put these tips to use in your own Jeep...
Storm season is upon us here in Alberta Canada... so a lot of my adventures are yes, highway miles, but that's ok by me - I'll get some R&R in the mountains soon!

Just sharing a few photos from the past couple of weeks...
Drumheller - You know, I do love the mountains, but have had a thing for the "Badlands" this year for some reason.
Heading into the mountains, but need a easy to find "rest stop"? This is just out of Rocky Mountain House. I've never...
Took the VagabondExpedition Jeep on a brief storm chase in Edmonton Alberta.
Decided to give a quick run down on my dash layout as setup for storm chasing. I'll do a more detailed video on this setup and how it all works and ties in with my cameras a bit later on.
I've got some additional photos, a video and some interesting reading coming up on this beautiful 1930's "unrestored" Nash 450 Sedan, so stay tuned!
Can you spot all the "overlanding" gear?
Just went for a drive.. down to the local Edmonton Alberta "DCOR" coffee night. Most attendees aren't really "overland enthusiasts", a lot are all about mud, but still you get a few that become more and more interested in the whole exploration thing after they start breaking down by running...
Everyone tired of Overland Expo West videos yet?
I tried posting every day, but had such bad internet access / cell access I had to give up at one point.

Hope you enjoy, and give me a thumbs...
