NASCAR runs E15
INDY runs E85
The higher percentage of ethanol in your fuel the lower your mileage will be in the same vehicle. I used to run an E85 Suburban and kept extensive records. The price difference has to have a gap greater than $X (differs for every vehicle based on mpg) for its use...
I’ve never heard a sound on that channel speaking anything other than Russian in my area (any area for that matter). Have never made a contact calling CQ either. That said, having an “official” frequency seems pointless. Just decide at a trips start what we will talk on and away we go. Too many...
I am going with over built. The ‘con is not what people make it out to be and has bypasses. Look into what stock rigs have made it through. Doing an axel upgrade for a trip that is heavily highway seems overkill. That’s not to say it is not a great upgrade if it makes sense for other stuff you...

Don’t think I will be at a tuning stage Saturday as I will most likely not be permanently mounted. Still playing with APRS and trying to learn the radio at the kitchen table. My family have quickly accused me of turning into a radio nerd so it will be getting installed for good shortly at which...
Anyone wise in the ways of ham going to be attending this weekend? I have questions that could use some answering and am slowing going down the rabbit hole on my own...which is far to dangerous.
