As long as the company is still around in 4 years should you have an issue. Some of these new "overlanding" companies don't last very long. Hopefully you will not have any problems. One thing I will give Smittybuilt is that they have indeed been around a long time.
I have and use a Thermacell as well. I also recently picked up some of this. It's a lotion and has pretty much zero odor. No deet and it works on mosquitos and ticks. I've used it and it works very well for mosquitos.
That's a nice looking product. Does it have a pop up pole on top of the arms to keep the material tight so the water does not pool? Are there walls available? Never mind--I see that they are available.
Gazelle T4 ground tent with a Helinox cot max convertible cot with the leg extension kit and an Exped MegaMat 10 sleeping pad. This system allows we to sit up on the cot and put my feet on the ground. I can also stand up completely in the T4 and I am 6'1"
So I took a look at my wife's cpap machine. A Philips Respironics dream station. Turns out it run's off of 12v! The adapter output is 12V so it should run fine off of a battery. (says this as he blow's up wifes cpap machine) I'm gonna look at the adapter plug and get one that matches and put...
My wife uses a cpap machine now. I haven't checked how much current it uses yet. Sure would be nice if there was a 12v cpap machine available. Just checked and there seems to be adapter cables available for many different cpap machines that will allow them to run directly off of 12v. CPAP...
Got up to 95 today in Indy and supposed to be 97 or better for the next few days. Oh yeah and we got the humidity too so you don't wanna come up here either. Gotta head pretty far north this time of year to find any break from the heat.
Thanks! It's a Prinsu rack. Have been very happy with it. Completely modular, 9 cross bars and all aluminum. Now back to your regular scheduled programming.
Interested but can not commit at this point. That's the weekend after I get back from the https://keweenawoverlandadventureretreat.com/ If I do make it it will be me and a canine and possibly one other person. 06 4Runner, not stock.
I've carried my T4 on my roof rack at speeds up to 80-85 on the highway with no problems whatsoever. It was a 70 mile drive with 80% highway. I am considering getting a Thule or Yakima roof box that I can put the T4 and my Hi-Lift inside and lock it. Here's how I carried my T4 last trip. Not...
I've often wondered the same thing. We can't hide our license plate from the general public that we encounter on a daily basis yet I see more posted pics with the license plate blurred than not. Are these people in witness protection or am I missing something?
Fair enough. My Renogy Voyager 20a PWM controller is "water proof" according to Renogy. We will see. I am going to get a Redarc 25a dc/dc charger for the 4Runner. When I get that I will use the MPPT charge controller that is built in for my solar charging needs.
