That is a very precarious position to be in on the steps on Black Bear pass. Wow! That sucks but it could have been much worse. Glad they didn't go the rest of the way down. I assume that's the reason the pass is closed today?

Where did you get the aluminum cardboard? I made some similar stuff when I was in school but is used epoxy and a vacuum clamping system. That's how commercial airline cabin floors are or were made.

This opens up a can of worms...which hose? My 4Runner has numerous coolant hoses. Are you going to guess which one is most likely to fail and only bring that one or bring all the coolant hoses along. Also if your F250 was going thru belts like crazy that was a mechanical issue, not a Ford issue.

I am going to go with the BCDC1225D That's a 25amp DC/DC charger with a MPPT solar controller built in. Should be plenty for me and prob most people.
