Modifying old pickup 4 new bed accessories

I appreciate your effort but the real question is how to make the vehicle accept these accessories. PS I need 4x4 as this will be my go anywhere vehicle & my work vehicle

Modifying old pickup 4 new bed accessories

Yes exactly with a shifter & clutch. Right now I'm driving automatic & miss 3 pedals; I also miss having room when I put down my back seats as withe my current Camry when I put down my back seats I get a tiny hole to put 1 or 2 pairs of skis through!

Modifying old pickup 4 new bed accessories

Hey everyone I've noticed that all the cool bed accessories that I would want to put on a truck aren't compatible with the older trucks. I haven't decided on a truck but I know that I want it to be standard transmission and a gas engine and I want to be able the work on it myself I'm leaning...

    Seat conversion

Has anyone ever converted the front seats in a pickup to swivel seats like on a RV/motorhome? This would make for a nice dinning room in a crew cab

Chevy vs Ford vs Toyota pickup

While I agree with you and appreciate the effort that you made to type that message, I don't have time to check 20+ parts on 3 different websites to do a comparison; plus I doubt that I can keep track of all that. I was hoping that a mechanic would weigh in

Chevy vs Ford vs Toyota pickup

There's nothing wrong with it - it was completely the opposite of what I expected. I couldn't even get him to tell me what makes Chevy special

Chevy vs Ford vs Toyota pickup

I just found out today that there's an extra cost for owning & operating an f150 because "plaqué" which is the limit of my French but I think means that it cost more at our equivalent of the DMV or it means that its a heavier steel. I forgot to mention that I'll only ever put camping equipment...

Chevy vs Ford vs Toyota pickup

I'm considering full size trucks I'm only going to bring camping equipment, a full size spare, & maybe soil amendments, & maybe a motorcycle. I'm very interested to know more about your comment about gm build quality. Care to elaborate?

Chevy vs Ford vs Toyota pickup

I was very interested in the ranger but then I found out that it's not allowed on most ATV trails because mid size trucks are a little too wide (at the wheelbase) & these are usually privately owned trails. So I'm now considering full size trucks

Chevy vs Ford vs Toyota pickup

I neglected to mention that I realized that my only reason for considering mid size trucks isn't practical - I wanted a go anywhere rig that's narrow enough to go on ATV trails, but a mid size still can't go on them for multiple reasons. I don't think I ever need to tow anything (just me & my...

    Choosing a pickup

Is 5'er a reference to height or a 5th wheel? Does TT mean travel travel? I forgot to mention that I don't want to tow anything. What's your recommendations for me?

Chevy vs Ford vs Toyota pickup

FYI: I think this is the 4th thread I started trying to help me decide on the best rig for me - with the help of this community I'm almost at a decision. I originally liked Toyota because one user drove his tundra for 1 million miles over 8 years and because a Toyota towed a space shuttle. I've...

    Choosing a pickup

If you were never planning on towing would you choose the f150?

    Choosing a pickup

Thank you for the advice but you use a lot of acronyms and I'm just starting to learn the lingo

    Choosing a pickup

Hey everyone So I decided that I want a full size pickup, now I need to decide on a make. I want something that has the front seat off the floor; in other words I'm going for the caravan setup & avoiding the sedan or Tacoma setup. Will a tundra be comfortable for me? Happy trails, Nicholas
