It sure does look right at home sitting on those Methods and covered in dust/dirt. Definitely curious to see where your adventure into the rabbit hole takes you.
Next part of the update...
"This little light of mine..."
CEL came on after running around southern Oklahoma one Saturday. I'll spare everyone the details and skip to the main part... It was a clogged vent valve. But the dealer also found that the charcoal canister was coming apart...
It's been about three months since I've been on... so I guess an update would be in order.
Let's begin...
First on the update is the installation of a set of Hella Sharptones. I ordered these through submimods.com and got their wiring harness to make life a little easier.
The stock horns...
Thanks. And, wow! That’s quite an experience, and glad they walked out of it. Subaru has really been developing a reputation for safety. Reminds me of Volvo and the pride they took in safety.
I've really come to enjoy and appreciate this machine, quirks included. It's fun to drive (even without a turbo), and it's taken me everywhere I've asked it to go. And it's all still stock!

Just wanting to check in on my fellow Texans and see how people are doing.
I've been in contact with my family and friends between Houston and Corpus. They are all doing well, and mostly in good spirits. My friends in Corpus are beginning the cleanup process, and my family and friends in...
This is fantastic. I've always been a Volvo fan. Used to think about what I'd do with the XC-70. I like that you've done a few things for functionality and just get out there and explore.
Side note: I'm glad to see someone else who liked the V70R.
Really liking the progress I'm seeing with your rig. Definitely following along.
Also, that rear bumper looks good. Nice to see something a little different, too.
Definitely going to be watching this.
I really appreciate how much thought is going into your build. It would be easy to just slap gear on, but you're doing a great job of looking at budget and what you will be doing with your rig. Simple and purposeful.
