Would the advantage of using a marine battery only be if you're running something like a fridge? I should only have to charge my phone, tablet, and camera overnight while the vehicle isn't running and I feel like a car AGM battery should be able to do that just fine.

Awesome trip report! I went hiking up Bell and Cathedral Rock in January (weather was perfect!). This was my first time doing any official hiking and I loved every second of it. So far, Sedona is my favorite place to be.
