What are the pluses and minuses of the Lithium Iron Potassium batteries?

I run a Jackery 1000 that runs my home water based CPAP for 1.5 nights. My Jackery recharges on 110v or solar in a day. The Jackery won’t recharge on 12v. So now I need an inverter to recharge it fully. Regardless I have several ways to run a CPAP.

Based on several years of communication systems, I would go HAM, dual band radios. Then GMRS. I’m selling my Midland CB. It is pretty useless. I have several vehicles so I have 2 Yaesu FTM 400 XDs, 1 Yaesu MX 6, and two Baofeng UV5R’s The Baofengs can pick up GRMS.

I’m leaving Boise/Eagle area Thursday some time. Not sure when yet. Anyone going to be rolling with a Ham radio, we could potentially lock in on a specific frequency if interested.

Just returned from a 2400 mile trip to the Grand Canyon, Chaco Canyon and Mesa Verde and back to Idaho. The road into Chaco is destroyed. I would recommend airing down the tires. Archaeology and Anthropology where incredible.

Just returned from the annual High Desert Off Road “Hangover” snow run in celebration of the new year. Did a bit over 100 mile loop from east Boise ID, mostly in snow, about 2 degrees this morning. Drove above Lucky Peak reservoir towards the community of Atlanta. 18 rigs
