    Camp stoves

These are the best I have. Goes with my 1951 lantern. They both work great. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Camp stoves

I use my 1947 Coleman GI stove. My wife hates it, but I love this thing. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

What portable air are you using in your rig?

Love the hotdog heating feature! My 400p has the same feature. I burned my hand the first few times I used it. Now my wife reminds me every time I use it. All newbies to Viair compressors: use the handle only. DO NOT TOUCH THE METAL! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Camp Pizza

We use a Cobb kitchen in a box. Less than 20lbs and makes pizza and cookies great. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Will I hate not having a winch for Overland?

Winches on both ends would be ideal. But there is a way with just one winch and 3 snatch blocks and anchors to pull yourself backwards with a front winch. I have seen videos on it, and studied the technique, but have never done it myself. It is VERY slow, but it works. As for is a winch needed...

What are your plans for 2017?

Let's see those rigs in action

They had a rack and pinion system that worked great in lots of hot rods. I had to think for a while on that... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Let's see those rigs in action

I have owned over 80+ vehicles over the years. I think every vehicle out there has something positive about it. Even a Yugo, it has a hood scoop![emoji41] Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Traction Board Review

I have seen Smittybilt boards break with easy use. I would recommend going with a better name brand if it is something that is possibly a life or death piece of equipment. As in you are alone in the middle of nowhere and your traction boards are your only way out. Sent from my SM-G900V using...

    Traction Board Review

They are for both. They have some pics on their site of them being used in sand. I have only used mine as bridges so far. The Land Rover instructors said they were their favorite multi use boards. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Traction Board Review

Great review. I have another option to add to the mix. http://www.cruxoffroad.com I have these, and love them. Yes they are more expensive, but I need to be able to bridge gaps and ramp large obstacles. None of the plastic ones work for my 8000lb truck. But everyone needs to evaluate their own...

Let's see those rigs in action

Last one. I wanted to show to those that don't know how straight axle rigs work. This is at the overland rally in Washington on the obstacle course Land Rover set up. For those that don't know, a Ram power wagon is NOT a regular heavy duty truck. I have a button on my dash to unhook my swaybar...

Mojave Road trip - March 2017

    Full Size Jeeps?

The fullsize jeep is an extremely capable platform. It is narrower than other fullsize rigs, and it has good running gear. Aftermarket support is limited, but a stock one will do amazing things. I had a 77 wagoneer with a 401ci motor and a low range quadratrac. If yours still is an AMC Jeep and...

    Does anybody overland full time?

Thanks. It took us 2 years of planning to get this set the way we like. USMC infantry 4 years, Army infantry 16+. I was a platoon sgt in a Stryker unit, so I am real particular on my vehicles. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
