The time has come for me to start a thread on the progression of my 2019 TRD Off Road. I picked this up a few months ago, and have held off on starting a new thread until I had parts on hand. While I don't have everything I need I do have most of it, and the rest should be here within a month or...
Here's an update since I've been slacking at it.
I have a lot going on right now, and I'll try my best to recap everything. The ceiling is just about finished, and I only need 2 more pieces of blue pine to go up. I'm going to hold off on that until I get all of my wiring complete, and make sure...
If they haven't been maintained they will start making noise, and that will progress to popping since the races in the joints are dried out. I do sell the forged joints separate, and they'll fit the hex tubes that you have. Shoot me an email: overlandcustomdesign@gmail.com

Over the weekend I completed one of the last items that I've wanted my 4runner to have. I built some slider from 1-3/4" x .120 DOM that are 68" in total length. The have kick-outs, two bend legs per slider, and I just dropped them off to get powder coated. Powder coat is not the best option for...
The ceiling is just about finished. I only need to install the two filler pieces on the sides, and replace the out of color pieces in the middle. Overall I'm very happy with how this turned out.
Something new coming to the site around the second week of December. Here's a link for anyone who might be interested, and there's a sign up link on that page. These will be available for ALL the models that I currently sell links for.

Well, looks like I've forgotten to post for a bit. I don't have anything complete that I've started on, but forward progress is still progress.
The toilet hider and side storage area are just about complete. I have the floor pan drawing for the toilet but need to have it cut, bent, and powder...
I designed the kitchen cabinet earlier this week in a bit of a rush, but it turned out pretty good. The main back panel is 18mm ply with black laminate on the front and phenolic backer on the back. The dividers and cross braces are all 12mm raw ply. The top if going to be butcher block with a...
Over the weekend I was able to install the lvp flooring in the cargo area, and add a little aluminum j-trim & angle to help finish it off a little. The j-trim really added a clean look around the door opening, and the angle helped to close in the side some.
In addition to that I started to...
Yesterday I was able to get the remaining pieces for the bed platform laminated, routered, and brought home. This included a divider wall to section off the front living area from the rear storage area. The divider is 19mm ply with black laminate on both faces. I also had some 7 ga steel bent...
Well, the smoke has finally cleared, and I've started working on the van again. The ladder is finished, installed, and sealed up. I also ran the propane hose into the van, connected the lines to the regulator, and sealed it up. Since the electrical/solar project will be coming up very soon I...
I still have a couple things to tie up on the exterior of the van before I can completely close up the inside. That would include mounting the propane tank, and building/mounting the ladder. Tonight I finished up one of those, and that's mounting the propane tank. I had a couple brackets laser...
This will have a 4x4 conversation done at the beginning of 2021. The plan is to run 35's, but haven't thought too much about width or wheel size just yet.
