We spent about 6K on a 2004 Toyota 4Runner right before the Pandemic in 2020. The only things we replaced were the tires (the ones on it were bald), added aftermarket bumpers, and replaced the glove box latch because I broke it. Since purchasing the 4Runner we have put close to 30,000 off...
@kunstmilch youbare correct, the Adventure Tier doesn’t get into mapping very much… it’s a teaser to allow a member a preview of what to expect from the Expedition Tier.
The concept for a fuel bladder isn’t new. Adventure Motorcyclists have been using fuel bladders for decades. Armadillo just became popular because they are brand new to the market and have fixes quite a few of the shortcomings of other fuel bladders.
Public lands and wilderness area maps are already emended in the app. As for winter layer, @Michael would be in the know on if this is eventually going to come into being or not.
We use the exact same stall as @Ceg. While easy to set up and take down and packs small, we are moving to a roof mounted one for her 4Runner build because I will be adding a roof mounted DIY solar shower and the roof top mounted shelter will be much easier to use with a shower.
