I created a new event for next Saturday, but I am not sure if everyone who I met today in-person got an invite. I think a limited number of invitations get sent. So, here is the link!

Let's meet up and make some friends! This should be an easy, short trail but there are certainly options to make it more difficult if we'd like. Feel free to bring lunch to prepare while we're out there. We'll meet up, air down, hit the road, go for a short drive and explore a little bit...
It was great to meet up in person and see everyone! Met some really cool people with very capable rigs and I'm looking forward to some trips this year.
I drove along Onion Creek Trail yesterday with a friend tailing me. Gorgeous landscape and perfect weather!
I'm happy with the footage, but I need to mix it up more in the future. Just didn't have time to play with the GoPros, tripod, windshield mount, etc.
This is not meant to throw any shade at rooftop tent owners so please don't take it that way but here is why I will not get a rooftop tent:
It would cost me $3,000 - $6,000. I already own an ultralight backpacking tent that weighs barely anything and takes up very little room.
That means an...
This really is the best advice. Also include chapstick, toothpaste, deoderant, soap, etc. It all smells tasty to bears.
Don't attract a bear with smells in the first place.
Bear Spray and/or Glock 20 10mm.
Poop your pants.
At this point you're either thanking God, even if you don't believe in...
Went on a little solo trip this past weekend and got to learn how to use my drone and also messed around with using a tripod to take video footage. It was an easy trail - I didn't want to push it since I was alone and the primary reason was to get better at capturing footage, editing it later...
Cars are safe from lightning because of the metal cage surrounding the people inside the vehicle. The metal cage of a car directs the lightning charge around the vehicle occupants and safely into the ground, so the car protects anyone inside.
I would need to be extra, extra careful the moment...
I have two Maxtraxx traction boards, snow shovel, regular shovel, snatch rope, and shackles. I'll have a passenger with me but no other vehicle. (I know... I know..)
A winch would be real nice - maybe I should get one.
I wonder if I should get two more traction boards also.
Hmmm....
I am planning on heading to CO to do Engineer Pass, Cinnamon Pass, and Imogene Pass in very early July. Some of these trails go up over 13,000 ft. in elevation.
What are the chances that I may encounter snow on the trails during this time? And for those of you who are familiar with these...
What is "side hill in snow"?
The Ford Bronco comes with 4 Auto, which is basically AWD. I use it most of the time while offroad and only switch into 4 Hi or 4 Lo if necessary. And then lockers if 4WD alone isn't enough.
This was my first time ever using rear lockers.
Even after watching so many videos of them in action, I'm still super impressed at how they instantly improve your capability.
My Bronco has mud caked all over it - pretty thick in some spots too and a lot of it has hardened. It's actually worse than in this particular photo.
What are the steps that you would take, including products and chemicals, to wash this thing and make it look showroom fresh again? And what's...
Yesterday I took it to Little Moab and got a little muddy! Did the Nutty Putty Cave loop and explored some other areas too. There were some steep dirt sections and steep rocky sections, and some mud holes which were a lot of fun. It was my first offroading adventure in this thing and I loved...
