Of course we can do whatever everybody is in the mood for, but my recommendation to get the discussion started is:
Leave the Apple
Drive to the south end of PMR trail
Head up the trail
Take breaks as necessary
About half-way or so up the trail, pull over for some chow and a bit of a break
Pop...

If you’re not listed here, you’re either in the other wave or you never gave me any of your...
Hey brother! Musician and off-roader too! We gotta play out on the trail some time!
It is funny how gigs fill up at random. Got like 20 dates in May and maybe four in August so far!
Please sign up on the second wave trip listed for the same day, and feel free to reply with or DM your experience level and gear you'll be bringing with you.
Good news. I just got off the phone with Debbie, the manager of the Big Apple. She confirmed that she has written down that she will sufficient passes for all of us on 4/13. I will additionally call and remind her again on the Monday preceding.
BTW, as someone else previously stated (not me)...
To be very clear, the location where we are to meet on the 13th is the Big Apple convenience store located at 403 N. Main St. in Edinburg 22824.
My belief is that it is a BP/Amoco station.
I spoke to the place where we're meeting up, and they told me if I give them an accurate count, they can make sure to have enough passes for all of us.
This is another reason I need an accurate count from all the "friends and family" people who are not on the RSVP.
The good news is that for those with variable departure times, there are going to be a number of opportunities to jump off the carousel. After our first run up the trail, we're going to wait for the second group to pop out and then run back down it. Those are two chances to time your departure...
OK, just counting down days on the calendar now. It's time to start doing the last minute stuff. (I'll be posting this in both threads.)
I would like to divide the groups up, so please tell me your preference. If you have a pressing reason to be in the first wave or the second, let me know. If...
I was figuring two groups going up PM, then back. Once back to the starting parking lot, we would see how many are still up for Tasker's. If still huge, two groups over to there. If enough want to cut out, we run one group on Tasker's while the others go back to camp and start cooking up the hot...
The second Rally Point Wave is up
https://www.overlandbound.com/event/peters-mill-fun-run-wave-ii/
Please sign up there if you want to go. Just because you're there won't necessarily mean you're in Wave 2. We will make assignments based on Experience and Equipment when we're closer to the...
See the post exactly four above yours.
I think I'm just going to start a Rally Point starting at the same location beginning at 10:45 (see that compromise @JRElaxED?). People will be able to sign up on that Rally Point, and we can sort out who belongs where by time they can get to the RP and to...
I agree, but on average wouldn't the same obstacles affect the second group the same as the first? Also, I don't want the first group to wait too long for the second group to come out, so the first ones can go back down the trail.
Your point is well taken, though.
