PS there was an error and the system sent out a notice about the Rally Point but didn't create the event. You should have received a second notice that does...
This is a Meet and Greet in the East Valley but is open to anyone.
Rudy's BBQ in Gilbert.
1733 N Higley Rd
Gilbert, AZ 85234
We will meet at 6:30 if you are coming to eat, then will move out to the parking lot for awhile (If it is too hot we'll just stay inside). You are welcome to come at...
First, thank you for your service.
Next Thursday we'll have a meet up in Gilbert at Rudy's BBQ on Higley just south of the 60. I haven't posted it yet but will try tonight. We are trying to get ready for a weekend trip, but If I run out of time the details will be the same as last months...
Gas mileage only suffers when going up hill. Okay and on flat ground. But I bet we pickup up an extra .25 mpg going down hill. Lol
Look at the plus side, more gas stops = more potty breaks. The wife likes that.

Unfortunately fire point is closed now, due to a wild fire. We are trying to squeeze in an extra day by leaving Thursday night instead of Friday night.
I have been scrambling the last couple of days, we went out with the teardrop over the weekend and had to come home Saturday because of an...
No worries we were out camping on the rim this weekend. Not the Grand Canyon rim. The Mogollon Rim just north of Payson. Had to cut it short a day because our battery for the teardrop and fridge wouldn't charge. 6 month old Vmax appears to be toasted. Now to find something for next weekend.
Todd
I looked into it and it looks more orientated to the side by side market. Has anyone been to it before?
We are camping the next two weekends already. But if it is more camping related we might go. Price it right compared to Expo.
Todd
We are planning to be in the area on the third week also. We’ll be at the north rim next weekend so probably won’t spend much time there in Sept. I like @justjames idea. If you have been to Colorado a lot before I would check out other places. Zion is cool but the crowds get old. Remember on...
This...
Look on CL or Facebook market and see what used tires go for in your area. It is crazy what they go for in the PHX area.
We just got new tires on the Jeep. We had 4 KO2’s and the factory spare that was never used. Go a screw right at the sidewall. Had we been doing a 5 tire rotation...
It was explained to me that different grades of gasoline combust at different compression rates. It has nothing to do with cleaning, less other additives. If you have a high compression Engine you need to run premium gas. If you don’t you are waisting money.
Use the gas the manufacturer...
It all depends on where you like or want to go, what kind of trails you want to do. We have a teardrop camper and love the easy of going out because Mose everything is packed ready to go. All we really need to do is pack food and water and a few other thing. When we get home in a few hours...
What are the chances of getting a site here on a Saturday mid day? We are hoping to stay on the north side of Flag on Friday night and get an early start in the morning?
My wife liked you're planter. We have a neighbor that is into VW buses, he has six of them.
We have 10 days planed the...
Thanks for the sites. Looks like we'll Need to plan another trip. lol
I do remember the cookies from our last trip. Carbs don’t count on vacation right?
Todd
We’ll be there in two weeks. Can’t wait. We have two nights at Point Sublime but still need to find one night somewhere before we head into the park. Any suggestions?
We just had one of those blue 7 gallons jugs fail on us this year. It was probably 5-6 years old and lately got a lot of sun exposure. Got a big crack in the top by the handle and vent. As long as it was upright we were okay. I don’t know if bouncing around in the Jeep did it buy by the end of...
Thanks, It was a fun project. The build took a little over a year to get it to where we could use it. Still an ongoing project. After every trip we find new things to change or add. We really like not sleeping on the ground and can keep everything packed ready to go.
Todd
I came from the motorcycle side of things too. KTM990 Adventure mostly 2up. Your really learn how little you need to pack for a trip when you don't have room. I don't get all the stuff people have on their dash and windshield. The windshield in a Jeep is small enough why add more stuff to block...
I have the best overloading partner. I've been married to her for 34 years. We have been looking for another couple or two or more to camp with for weekend trips and maybe longer. So far no luck. I'm surprised how hard it's been to even find anyone who want to go out to camp. We know a few...
Seems like a lot of people missed answering your question. It would depend on what the meetup/activity is. Here in PHX so far we just do meetups at a local restaurant. You could ride a bicycle if you wanted. LOL If I were to setup an overnight trip you would be fine because I pull a teardrop...
I can’t see me spending the money for one. I like the idea. And yes a wok will not have heat zones, they are not made for that. Woks are for high heat fast and they cool down quick. These type of cookers can’t get the high heat that a wok needs to get the true flavor of a Chinese restaurant...
