Shock is fixed! Trail worthy again... finally..lol

I hate to say I'm still up in the air. Got my yoke and seal placed, so that leak seams to be fixed. I need to get the shock mounts straightened out to get the shock to mount. Hopefully I can get that done tomorrow so I can go.

Fighting with getting the rig back to trail worthy. Finally got the yoke differental seal fixed and stopped leaking after a new seal and yoke. Now the shock. Where its mounted to the body is bent up, so I have to straighten that out now....blah...the things we do...lol

Get behind him and you almost don't need headlights..lol

I've been on a lot of the weather desert roads, but not this one, stock can typically do it no prob.

Haven't had a chance to work on it since Saturday. Got my shock parts coming. Should be able to repair the yoke seal in the next day or two.

Thought about the work I need to do on the rig...lol. Got my replacement parts for my busted shock ordered and on the way, hopefully they get here in time for our Rally meetup on Saturday.

Don't think so, I think people in SLC are talking about meeting up before hand and caravanning out to the Rally Point and be there by 9:30.

Nice, I typically have my kids, 14, 10, 7 but they love it. But they won't becoming this time.

Good question, I didn't think about that. I was going to mark the nut and the shaft and line the marks up when I put it back on.

Rig update. Checked the over the rig yesterday. Found a broken rear shock banging around so I need to get that replaced. Replaced the parking brake cable. I need to replace the yoke input shaft seal and a new gasket on the diff cover. Hopefully I can get it done in time to come.

Checked out the noises underneath. Found a broken shock. Replaced a bad parking brake cable.

Sweet looking trailer. Very unique compared to most off road trailers. Large kitchen and very roomy overall.

Time, It was going to take a lot longer for the parts to come in and I had to get home.

Yeah the 10 bolt. The shaft broke at the spline, we never opened it up so see if there was any other damage but with the weekend and the holiday it was faster to get the axle assembly than it was to just get a new shaft, about the same cost as well.
