Half inch is a lot on the front, I would say springs are tried. A set of Eibach springs should fix it. It's pretty common to see the rear vary up to a half inch.
No matter the winch you buy I would recommend you do 3-4 minor pulls with it. Keep duty cycle to 20%, do not over heat the motor. This should break in the motor and gear box and expose any defective parts. The imports can be good units.
I thought about warranty replacement when away from home. Auto Zone has good batteries and over 6500 stores across the country. My truck came with a H6 LA and I replaced it with a H8 AGM. I normally get 2-3 years past warranty on batteries.
I use a single 5 gal Jerry can stored on my swing out. If I need more I have a few 5 gal VP race fuel jugs leftover from my drag racing days, strap them inside the bed, extremely heavy duty jugs. The VP's are cheaper than quality jerry cans.
I have Onstar on my truck and it can track and disable the truck from a remote location. Stat tracking devices are cheap but have a monthly subscription charge. Can give minute by minute location info.
I see 1 or 2 local posts on stolen rigs every week around Orygun.
Sun visors and OEM storage can be limited. I have a flat platform over my rear seats and use a 56qt tote. A molle seat back organizer holds a lot of stuff. I just put a molle seat back organizer on the front of the pass seat (I'm always solo) holds all the stuff you edc, extra water bottles...
I invested in a few 24V tools early on and then bought a 10" 24V chainsaw of the same brand. In a saw only, no battery it was dirt cheap. Now I see 40V and even 80V battery tools. This has lowered the price of 24V batteries, I just picked up a 6Ahr 24V for $40.
I use the saw for firewood...
Currently there are only two options for shocks on the ZR2/Bison platform, the OEM DSSV's made in Canada and Kings, made in USA. The Z71 model of the Colorado has several options for shocks but it has different suspension.
I have a drawer system under a Softopper. 80% of gear is stored in the drawers, 6' bed is my sleeping area. Softopper folds down in minutes when I need to use the full bed. FaceBook has a Softopper page with lots of info and different setups.
45K for a low mileage Bison sounds like a fair price. Used prices are thru the roof right now and GM is not taking orders for new trucks. If you like the Bison bumpers I'd buy it.
