    Honestly, at first it was a pain, but after 1-2 times I learned. Now I can set it up myself in 15- 20 minutes. Faster if my wife is with me. Take down is easy. I have not set up the extended room. I hear that is a pain. The extended room is still in the original bag.

    Yes it tows perfectly. Also, I tow with my JKU. Towing is no problem at all. You will need to add trailer breaks, but that is plug-and-play.

    Thanks, I will hit you up for sure. I moved from CA to Chamberlain in September, love SD, but miss the trees. I am looking forward to exploring in Spring and Summer. Have a larger run to the Rim Rock train from Co to Moab in late June. My hope is to combine that with some exploring in Co.

    24 Hour Mini Adventures

    I agree 100%. Due to work it is often hard to get our for a long excursion. So mini-adventures make up often provide the escape and adventure to keep my sanity. Often due to the limited time they make for a eventful adventure.

    It has been a reliable rig and now three trips in no complaints. Had to do some mods for winter camping, that is about hit. I love how it tows and the capabilities off-road.

    I use my Max Traxx to level my trailer. They work well and by using them I carry less.

    I used to be a BFG guy. 2 rigs ago someone convinced me to try Nitto Trailgrapplers on my Power Wagon. I have never turned back. Incredible ware on my JKU and my Gladiator. Great tires!!!

    It is good to see SD getting some love. I recently moved to Chamberlain here from the Sierra's. I moved in late Autumn, therefore had little time to explore. I am looking forward to my first Spring and Summer to hit trails and visit many of the places you listed.

    What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

    Wouxun KG-1000G GMRS Base/Mobile. I just did a number of installs on the Gladiator, moving older Motorola GMRS to the JKU. Going to be a fun weekend.

    Curious if you are seeing where on one axel over others? I had an alignment issue with my truck in the past that caused excessive tire wear.

    California Late Jan/Feb trip

    You may want to think about exploring the Nevada Dessert while you are there. The olf mining towns and Ghost towns are easily accessed and have plenty of overlapping opportunities. Califorina mountain are typically snow bound that time of the year.
