Get a roll of velcro and cut go fit. Works well since most are different sizes. A lot of patches come with the backing already on it though. You'll just need the velcro for the patches that are made for "iron on" or sew on patches
I think it's a requirement to put patches on your rigs headliner to be a real Overlander, right? Haha!
Let's see those headliner pics and tell me what your favorite patch is and why and your newest patch.
What is your deciding factor In purchasing a patch? Ours is based on first time...
Got the Traeger fired up for an enjoyable weekend of constant grilling, smokin and celebrating this wonderful Country. USA! USA! USA!
4 Pork Booties hitting the racks for a long bedtime rest and sweat, then on the grates at 3am. 225F with super smoke engaged. I'm already drooling!
We have a Coleman 2 burner also. The only down side is that it doesn't work well with any windy situation, even with the side wind blockers up. It also seems to burn through quite a bit of fuel quickly. With the wind blockers up, larger pots and pans don't fit as easily together either.

This is the first "investment" my wife and I have made personally, outside of a 401k.
We are very happy to have been a part of this company from the beginning stages.
Thank you, Michael, Corrie & Team, for the dedication and hardwork over the years to build this community.
Happy Trails to you...
Your dad sounds like someone who was very driven and destined to find adventure, not even letting crazy allergies get the best of him and adventures with his family. Such a neat story. Thank you for sharing with us.
That's great you have found ways to learn and adjust. It's ever evolving, even for a seasoned outdoorsman. Keep going and critiquing your setup. We have found with our daughter being 3, things changed since last year. It's fun though, the change. New things, revamped old things. Change keeps us...
I agree. Unless we travel to the Outer Banks, we typically don't take firewood with us - kinda hard to find on an island.
When we travel to VA, they don't allow out of state wood at any of the campgrounds and I'm pretty sure they don't technically allow it over state lines.
Definitely Dawn dish soap.
Some of our friends use that expensive stuff from REI or Great Outdoor that "saves the environment" to each his own. My wife put it best though "If they use this soap to clean off birds and other animals during oil spills in the ocean, it'll be perfectly safe to use...
You ain't lyin. I lived in Daytona for 6 months while in college and it was like being back in NC. Everyday it was hot, then 2pm it would rain, then humid as could be and hot. Not camping weather at all. Sometimes it wasn't even beach weather. Just ew
I think that was quite harsh. People come to the forums to seek advice and help from others. Let's be better about steering them in the right direction, instead of tearing them down.
Sometimes people just need the assurance to go do it. I think a lot of the comments have led toward that.
