I should be able to get there early. I'm picking up my Ovrlnd camper in Flagstaff that week and still working out the details as I would also like to check out the Grand Canyon since I'll be so close, and I've never been. But I think I could get to Needles or the work location Friday.
his video and this site really helped me put mine together. I have an ATC roll like this one and it's holding up ok. I have a lot in there too but I figure if I don't know how to use it, hopefully someone who comes along will.
Welcome from the Northbay. We have monthly meeting-ups in Rohnert Park, and will head out every so often like this month. Check out the Rally Point for details.
That said, if folks still want to do a taco night. Or make something for the group, I don't think anyone would complain.
I'll bring my dutch oven for a cobbler on Saturday night.
Friday night, depending on the time we get up there, I'm looking at a spot just north of Richardson Glade. If it's still early enough we could continue on to Bear Creek or Summit Springs. And then Saturday night, after Lovelady Ridge we could loop back around to Wyley Springs. I haven't been to...
There are no restrictions on fires, as of today. Just no "Fireworks, pyrotechnics, explosives, any internal or external combusion engine without a spark arresting device".
I'll definitely be keeping an eye out. I'm due to get my camper the beginning of October and will be driving down to Flagstaff. Doing something like this on the way back sounds like the best way to break it in, especially Mojave since I've never been there.
Please note that I moved the initial meet-up spot in Santa Rosa. The Costco parking lot on a Friday afternoon is really the last place we want start. I moved it a bit further north in front of a Lucky's Supermarket, with a less crowded parking lot. It's also next to a Home Depot in case anyone...
There may be a 2 night option going forward. I've added the extra day to the event, but if folks can only come 1 day, I can set-up a meet-up point Saturday morning.
Did this loop a couple months ago. You can't go all the way around as their was a landslide wiping out the road just a couple miles north of the Eel River Campground. That said, it's a great loop and you can loop back on Espee Ridge Road.
We're doing a short 1-2 night trip at the end of the...
I should add that I fixed the link by copying the url from the Rally page going through the Rally Point tab and editing the first post. The link I replaced it with wasn’t the same with what was originally in the post.
Also it now looks like the forum comment section is working now. I noticed...
A 2-nighter might work. Maybe as it gets closer we can see if who's going that will work for them. I can't quite commit to 2 nights at the moment, but that could change. And taco night sounds great!
I just noticed that when in forum view for a Rally Point, the link in the first post to the Rally Point page isn't working properly. Nor am I seeing posts in the forum view showing up in the Rally Point comment section. I did a quick fix of the first issue and cut and paste the url from the...
