There is talk that they are actually going to release a truck version of the JK next year or 2018. There is also speculation they are finally going to start selling the diesel Wrangler here in the U.S. as well. Fingers crossed.
There's a Jeep Badge of Honor trail I want to do on the Western side of Indiana somewhere. I'm hoping to get over there this summer. Looks like it's in Dugger, IN which is about a 5 hour drive from where I live. It's in the Redbird SRA.
Very nice. Almost had my wife talked into a used Commander, but she decided she liked the look of the Grand Cherokee better. So, we ended up with that. I'd of rather had the Commander, but I have my Wrangler so we're good. I also run Duratracs on my Wrangler. They are awesome tires and have...
Welcome to the forum. I look forward to your build thread. One of the great things you will find about this forum is the support regardless of a persons chosen mode of transportation. 4Runners are awesome, so it should serve you well. I've been seeing some off roading down in Arkansas on another...
Great trip report and images. Even though you all got stuck, looks like a lot of fun. And this is another great example why there is safety in numbers. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome location to do some exploring. Nice looking rigs and RTT's. I've been to Oregon, but never to really explore. Looks like I'll be planning a trip out that way again some day. Great trip report.
I'd post it in the vehicle build thread for now. I'm sure it would be fine there. Wish I had fabrication skills. I've been starting to use the mig welder at work, but not a lot. So I'm looking for a used military trailer I can mod and put an RTT on top of it.
Sounds good. These next two weeks I'm studying my butt off so I can pass my certification test for work on the 28th. Got up yesterday and studied from 6AM to 6PM. Next couple weeks I probably won't be around much. After that, I'll have more free time to plan. lol
Welcome to the forum. Post pics of your trailer when you can. I need some inspiration. I'm hoping to get n m101 or m416 trailer to build on this summer.
Definitely! We need to start planning some weekends. There's a moderate trail ride in Indiana and also one in Southern Missouri near the Arkansas border. I know we have a few people from Texas on here that might be able to make the trek. Need to get out and explore!
I love the 80 series. 205,000 miles is a lot, for a Jeep anyway. Not sure about a Toyota. They seem to last forever. I love my Wrangler, but I also love my Grand Cherokee. It has the 5.7 V8 with LSD front and rear. It also has the Quadradrive II. Which I don't care for because I want to be able...
I'm thinking of getting one for running around town on holidays such as the 4th, Memorial Day, etc. I'm probably going to order one soon. I'll see how it goes. Saw a lot of good reviews on the Jeep forums.
Yup. When I got off active duty, went into the guard for several years. Been about 15 years since I've been there. Last time I was in Minnesota was 2007. I photographed a wedding on Nicolette Island in the Twin Cities.
Welcome to the forum. My wife and I want to visit Maine in the next couple years. Will have to get some ideas from you as far as points of interest goes when we start planning.
