I know how to use a grid map and a compass. I know how to use my Garmin. But I'm not up to speed on all these programs on tablets and computers. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. I think it has GPS. Would that be a decent tablet to use programs such as GAIA on?
It's a beautiful area. My father used to live in Carmel. I'd go out to visit on occasion. One of my favorite locations is Point Lobos. Spent a lot of time hiking that area and photographing. And of course, heading to the aquarium in Monterey.
Love Duratracs. I have 285/75/R16 on my Wrangler. They aren't the best at anything, but are great at everything. Good road manners, relatively quiet, and do great on the snow or on the trail. One of these days I'm going to spend the money and get 35's.
Yesterday playing in the snow.
I just have a Smittybilt 9500 XRC with synthetic line. I'm happy so far but it doesn't get a lot of us. Holds up to the elements well and is waterproof. But for better answers to your question, I'd ask in the recovery section. My knowledge on this subject is very limited. lol
Finally got a decent snow fall so I could get out for some poser pics. Went to Wildcat Den with the wife and daughter to do some hiking. Figured I might as well get some winter poser pics with the rig.
