Either way, looks like it will serve you well. Is the winch in good shape? I have the same LED cubes on my front bumper. For what I paid for them, they work well. Some condensation does get into them though. But I've had them a year and they work.
Drummond Island is on my bucket list. I went to high school in Traverse City way back when, and just really enjoy the area. We usually stay in Germfask when up in the U.P. at a cabin along the Manistique. Crisp Point light house is one of my favorites to visit. Such an incredible area. That...
Almost every Summer my wife and I are tooling around Michigan in my Wrangler. Usually head to Traverse City, then to the U.P. I've been wanting to get up there in the Winter one of these years and spend some time photographing the lighthouses along the coast. Trying to convince the wife we...
Ahh see, I didn't know there was a different in paddles. Probably rivers and lakes. Not many oceans around Iowa, lol. Maybe we should start a thread on watercraft activities and types.

This meet up is for anyone and everyone. There are several trails there. Also, it's just fun to get away, build a camp fire and hang out with new friends and talk about overlanding. I'm looking forward to learning new things. There is a wealth of knowledge on here. Just come and have fun, and...
I've seen the ARB and like them. Right now we use some cheaper chairs with the canvas arms. I like the Tommy Bahama chairs that Steve posted. I'm going to start searching for wooden armed fold up chairs. We've been looking at Dick's and other sporting goods stores for better chairs than what we...
