How much led light is too much led lights?

Seems like I am going blind in my old age, I can't imagine "too much led lights". I am running around 47,000+ out the front, which works pretty well. I need to add some around the other sides and quartering off the front (ditch lights). That said, I always check my current draw against what...

    Big Tuna Presents: Pegasus Rising

I am still getting an occasional P0121. Already replaced the TPS. After working on the wiring harness for some other problems it has gone away, but I still get engine surging after it is warmed up (not when cold).

Overland Bound - Midwest meet (completed, watch for the next meet)

I would like to do this, but my current work schedule has me working two of the three days. That may change in the future, so I will have to wait and see.

    Open Diff vs Diff Lock

A year and a half ago, I added a lunchbox locker to my rear axle. Made all of the difference in the world. This weekend it began acting up and all of the sudden a steep gravel hill presented a problem. I am now in the process of replacing it with a vari-lock and hope it does what I need it to...

I will be interested to hear how you like the Core 4x4 control arms. I am considering those as an upgrade.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Wow! That looks just like mine, except my GPS button says "NAV" and my volume knob doesn't have a chrome ring on it. I was also able to wire the steering wheel radio controls into it. Works great! I too have not installed the backup camera. My original location (license plate) would be hell...

    How About the WJs?

I have seen them listed on Amazon, O'Reilly's, and RockAuto.com. You have to look carefully, but if they are over $200, they generally have everything pressed on already...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Changed coil packs and plugs. Unfortunately #7 coil pack separated in the hole, still attached to the plug. Can't get it out, so now I have an appointment with the dealer tomorrow. Not sure how it was even still running. I think the plugs may have been the factory original. Center conductor...

    The Old Goat

In the late 80s and early 90s I worked for a company in Alaska where I most often drove the company 1986 Ramcharger. It had a 360. Drove that thing all over the place. Great rig!

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

When I first met my wife, she had a "74" Opel Manta that the hinge pins were toast on the drivers door. I did many a "Duke's of Hazard" exit on that door. Man I miss that car...

Aw shucks, Steve, The Rat Patrol was about the most overland fun you could have in a Jeep, especially in northern Africa and with .50 cal Browning!!!

    Smoky Mountain Overland Expo

They really need to get this information posted somewhere else besides facebook. Many people do not do social media. Facebook limits browsing for non-members. Plus the layout isn't very useful for something like this.

    Air/inflatable Jacks

I have the ARB X-Jack and love it. There is no place to use a high lift safely on the WJ. With the X-Jack you can lift on less than perfect footing as well. One thing, if you are going to lift at one end or the other, you may need to chock the wheels and lock the brakes. The X-Jack can...

Going to add 4 spot lights to my roof rack, should I ditch the lightbar?

I started with a lightbar, then added two 10 degree spots that throw light about a half mile down the road. The combo works well.
