Old pictures but I’m a big fan of getting creative with Fourtreks mounts to use more of the basket than they intended. It’s also no secret that I used CAD to get the most out of my extended Yakima.
Absolutely! Based on some of what I’ve read recently it looks like I’ll be doing it sooner (tonight) so already established plans don’t get lost in the mix.
This is the picture I should have shared with you @sabjku. Mini on my CB antenna 11’ in the air in the foreground and a full size approximately at the same height 4 vehicles away.
It’s a new venue this year but I’m sure it’ll be similar to the previous one when it comes to camping. Vehicles...
Black Oak makes top tier led products. They’re not cheap but they’re worth it for less than Rigid or BD.

Sure thing @QCrunner. It started out as this mount because the 11lb worthington bottles have the same diameter as the 5lb bottles (different from Manchester bottles)...

I have a T and assorted hoses so I can run multiple things at the same time.
Sure you can refill the disposables but one of my issues with them is that when they leak there’s no way to stop it. That happened to me and was the final straw.
I intend on starting a caravan thread for the northeast when it gets closer but I’ll definitely keep my eye on this one as well.
As it is there are some of us meeting at http://www.papasandbeerasheville.net/ on Thursday between 3-4 for some food and perhaps an adult beverage. After hopefully...
The best part about going to Expo is the overwhelming feeling to finish some projects. I finally got my ass in gear and installed my Midland MXT275 GMRS radio. I have a gear keeper mounted behind my rear view mirror and clips for both radio mics already attached. I’m using a Browning 27” 5.5db...
The skid plate sits lower than the bumper guard and there are no spacers on the front skid plate. It’s made spacious for 2 more underperforming cylinders.
I’m lifted more so my approach angle has been good enough to wait and see what bumpers come out.
Welcome to the club. I got to a point and I just couldn’t stand using them or seeing them thrown in the woods anymore. I have a custom tank holder held in place by a Fourtreks mount. Old pictures but you can see it well enough.
No problem! At some point I’ll get around to making one that fits my 2.5 better. The same plate works for the 3.6 so it ends up robbing more clearance than it needs to but that’s a common problem with all of the available options.
