Rear bumper advice from those smarter than I

I am want to pull a small trailer behind our TJ (4 x 5-ish). I know the TJ's towing capacity is around 1800 lbs and I will deffenetly be adhering to the that. As light as possible all the way! So here is the situation. I want/need a new bumper with a swing out tire carrier. I had the 33" tire...

WOW! I am blown away with the packaging of my Overland Bound Badge and cert!!! I think it says a lot about a person or company for that matter who cares enough to pay attention to even the smallest of details. Very reminiscent of the packaging from my Apple products or My Drift Ghose Camera. For...

My wife can help you out with that. She is a Graphic Design artist. Send me what you have (railmancf@gmail.com) and I will have her look at it or I can get you in direct contact with her. Just let me know how you want to handle it.

    GPS Receivers

Your welcome. I ran across a rather large thread yesterday here about GAIA. One of our members is very active on GAIA as a Beta tester. https://www.overlandbound.com/forums/threads/ask-me-about-gaia-gps.6959/page-5#post-135386

    GPS Receivers

I don't know if you read my post before I edited it or not, I sounded snarky in my first reply, sorry....... I am not familiar with MotionX. I did down load maps on GAIA and was able to use those as well as have my location tracked and had full functionality, sans download capabilities, while on...

    GPS Receivers

I don't believe you will need that? The apple GPS works with no cell signal. I used GAIA gps app while on my canada fishing trip with no cell service for a week and it worked like a champ. Turn off your cell data under settings and try for your self.

    Hammocks

That will be awesome. This is how I hung last weekend at our camper. Its called a turtle dog stand. It's made from fence top post and 2x2's for the legs. I got the idea from a hammock forum I am on. I was trying to think how to adapt this to fit into my TJ or the trailer I am going to bolt for...

all great advice! What is your hammock related company? I can't wait to get out and do some actual camping in my set up. So far I have slept in my yard and at my camping club with my 20 ft TT right next to me. I did sleep out side the house this winter in 14 degree weather and was toasty...

Hello All, Man Do I have the bug for some adventure. This seems to be such a great site and I have already paid to be a member. So much to learn. I had done some offloading in the late 90's in a 1975 Blazer I redid. Man I miss the thing. I was reading about someones overloading adventure on...
