    Underlanding???

I love your term, "underlanding." Yup, very appropriate. Nice pics.

    Camp Stove

I've tried some of the fixes I've heard about. But thanks. You are far more of a veteran of those than I. Regardless, they are great little stoves for the money.

    Any Rig Any Where

A have more, "if money is no object" fantasies: One of those custom 4wd high cube vans, high clearance, heavy duty, rugged. Maybe a custom Unimog. Adventures in the West, Alaska. Yup, for the rest of my days. Summer, winter, spring and fall. Off the grid and carefree to roam.

    Camp Stove

I have used the Coleman stoves a lot. My only complaint is that they are hard to control the flame (either full blast or nothing). Pretty good bang for the buck though.

New Dude from Ken Caryl, Colorado!

Big hearty welcome from So. Idaho. I get out to the Denver area a couple times a year. One of our daughters and family live in Littleton.

#USAONDIRT a 5,000 Mile OffRoad Adventure Across America

Awesome! Trip of a lifetime. The TAT is on my bucket list. I just need to do it. Your report is inspiring, to say the least. Great photos and narrative. Thanks. Your adventure pretty well sums up what OB is all about in many ways. Thanks. I'll be looking again and taking notes. I wouldn't mind...

    Jeep XJ 2000 Build (Navajo)

One of my favorite rigs (sold it about a year ago) was an '89 Cherokee. Very capable rig and was set up nicely for overlanding/camping. Just a few of the mods: ARB locker front and rear, 35" tires, curry steering components, 5.5" long arm lift, Ford 8.8 rear axle, 4.88 gearing, well the list...

    What is your rigs name

Doodle Bug. (sorry, I don't yet have a nice outdoor/action photo).

    Any Rig Any Where

Rubicon pulling a real cleverly made teardrop trailer with rear galley (money no object, well maybe one of those really tricked out Aussie overlanding units). Alaska. Wife and dog. All Alaskan Summer. Head south for Moab, Arizona and other such parts for the winter. Repeat.

What is your must cook meal or must have food for camping.

Potato salad with pork and beans on the side. Steamed vegies in foil. Roasted corn on the cob. Full course hearty breakfast. Roll ups stuffed with all the good stuff for lunch on the trail. Kebabs.

Why Do You Like to Camp

I am currently building a small trailer to pull behind my ATV to facilitate more remote camping possibilities. I don't mind camping next to some folks if they are considerate, but I also enjoy the solitude when I can find one of those spots. At the same time, I also know that a responsibility...

Why Do You Like to Camp

I also like to play one of my Native American style flutes, sitting on a river bank or around an evening campfire. Yes, some of my fondest childhood memories are centered around camping/adventure trips with aunts, uncles, cousins, mom and dad. Once we did a 25 mile horse packing trip back into a...
