Couple more. Hopefully the Flickr settings didn’t kill the pic quality too much.

I found a nice trail that went for a looong ways through the woods. At first it was semi plowed, but then turned into a few inches of snow with no tracks through it. Nothing too crazy but a nice, scenic drive.

Let me know if these pics are sized right. I kept having to shrink them to even be able to post. Temp in the jeep was reading a balmy 5 degrees-

It’s been a while, but got out for a drive to the Catskills this morning. I’m using a new dslr instead of my iPhone for the pics so this will be a test post from flickr. We’ll see how it goes...

Welcome! Another JKUR owner here. I’ve taken a couple trips to the Catskills with mine. You shouldn’t have trouble finding some trails near you over there.

Looks like a fun ride. Was there an actual gate that was just open at the time you went? I’ve seen a couple gates to park/forest roads out east that are opened during hunting season to allow access but locked other times of the year. Hopefully this one is always open but just a heads up to...

Also swapped out the Evo tire carrier for the AEV frame mounted one. I'm planning to run 2 2-gal rotopax on it so wanted the weight supported better. This thing is really solid.
