Greetings all! I wanted to reach out for some advice in regards to routes that people have some experience within the UT/CO area. I will be traveling to Colorado Springs in early September and would like to make a portion of the drive via dirt vs just buzzing along the highway the entire time...

Good ole' GSI Ultralight Java drip filter for me. Java Drip I use this in camp, and in the house. It makes a great cup of coffee, super easy to clean/transport/use/etc. I will usually pregrind my coffee or make sure to buy something pre-ground. Fire the jet boil up and bam you have a nice...

Not going to lie...I bought one of those Zip showers for my GF when we went on our first camping trip together to Morro Strand. AMAZING haha! I fired that thing up and took a steaming hot shower right on the coast. I do just fine dirt bagging it but dang it sure was nice to have!

Do you still need the GPX route to Cerro? I can send over if so. I also recommend Swansea Rd. if you are up for a fun adventure!

Swansea Road just outside of Lone Pine is a fun one too....likely there is still a touch of snow up there too. Could do it backward and exit via Cerro Gordo, or start with Cerro and exit via Swansea.

Any interest in a patch to commemorate the trip? I was tinkering around with some ideas if so.
