Big week this week, fortunately! Installing the Falcon 3.3 shocks, Falcon 2.2 steering stabilizer, Teraflex Outback Springs, Teraflex adjustable Alpine control arms, JKS Quick Disconnects for the front sway, Helwig rear sway bar, and new brakes. Definitely excited to see how different the...
I’ll be in the DC area for the event, close to home. If you come here we’d be able to easily do the install if you’d like. I just found out that I’ll probably be free on the 14th after about 2pm.
@EB12 , I just went through this. I installed the Pioneer Platform on my Jeep and one of the FSR Hardshell Power top tents.
My issue was that the Pioneer slats run the length of the top(front to back, vs. side to side) and the mounting rails on the FSR also run front to back, but they do not...
This is exactly my approach as well. With that said, I was up at one of my favorite spots in the George Washington Nationa Forest two weekends ago and there was literally some religious group/cult of approximately 200, yes 200, men that had built about a 25ft high cross and were yelling...
Will be heading down Thursday morning, camping at the event. Only a 2.5hr drive this year(from DC area), which is awesome. There's a few of us from this area driving down together if anyone else wants to join.
@rghbsn , thanks for the interest! I will be working all day on the 13th and have an outdoor event to manage for work on the 14th. I will probably be done with the event on the 14th around 5pm. Would you be available to meet sometime that evening or maybe Sunday the 15th? Feel free to text or...
Going a different direction and have purchased another tent for the Jeep. The Tepui is currently on my trailer and I can help you install if you’d like.
Tent is in excellent condition with no rips, tears, or stains. Comes with annex as well. Tent and annex are both tan in color.
Retail is...
Somebody else already mentioned it, but the campground is, by far, the best place to see all kinds of gear, in real world use, and to be able to talk to all of the people that use that gear, along with their experiences. The amount of cool rigs and gear in the campground is worth the price of...
I really wanted the Ursa Minor top myself, but it ended up not happening. BTW, Ursa Minor is great for one person, ok for two, but that's it. It's actually fairly small sleeping quarters.
@Navin , I'll throw in my opinion, based on experience, as well. I have a Tepui Autana on my trailer(traditional soft shell tent) which I've had for a few years, an FSR hardshell power tent on my Jeep, and an Oztent. Anything that's not attached to your vehicle(ground tent, Oztent, hammock...
