Being in retail my entire life, you could not have explained this any better.
Bottom line, if you’re going to compare pricing then compare apples to apples and factor in EVERY single element to the equation, including how much time you spend doing all of the research. And, after all of that...
Installed the Maximus 3 side ladder onto my Rhino Rack with Backbone. Technically, it's only designed for the Maximus system, and even though there system uses the Rhino Rack Platform, the Platform sits in a different position height wise, so the ladder isn't sold to work on the Rhino's with...
The ARB awning rooms are simply AWESOME! You can not beat them, especially for the price! I've had mine for a few years and would never get rid of it. And the setup and takedown is a piece of cake. I've used my Buddy heater in mine a few times as well, and it definitely does get warm and cozy.
Hmm...would I have seen that Jeep in the Annandale area yesterday? I remember the RTT on top of it because I glanced at the name on the front of the tent. Good looking Jeep!
And in addition to the quality and performance differences you get between department store and bike shop quality bikes, there's also a MASSIVE safety difference between them. You're risking doing some serious damage to yourself riding a Walmart/department store bike on a proper mountain bike...
Those are my exact words and advice as well. But then again, I've been in the bike industry for about 27 years now, on the retail side of it, so can easily support that advice.
Works perfectly fine. Just don’t need any longer. Comes with box and manuals. For Jeep JK’s.

Having issues again with trying to upload pics from iPhone. [emoji848]
Does it come with that prepped meal I see in the pic?
All joking aside, these things are awesome, and I'm sure someone will swipe it up quick! Love mine!
This is a longshot, but I'm switching up my build and looking to see if anyone would have a Goosegear full plate/sleep platform system for the JKU's. I have a 2016.
I'd be interested in either a full plate system, with the rear plate, and the 100% delete, or a full plate system with the side...
Check out the maps from Purple Lizard. Purple Lizard does maps for WV, PA, and OH. They are incredibly detailed, with Forest Roads, "high clearance" 4wd trails, marked dispersed camp spots, hiking, biking, you name it. I was just out in West VA last week and almost used their maps exclusively...
Having issues attaching pics from iPhone. Message or text and I’ll send.

Bilstein 5160 shocks with remote reservoir, with dual Bilstein steering stabilizer(not in this pic but I have them), Rough Country 2.5-3” springs, and extended rear sway bar links.
This fits...
I noticed Brad of TrailRecon had a shirt on in his most recent video with Rocklander on it. I'm not even sure if I had heard anyone use that term previously, or maybe just never paid attention to it.
It'll depend ulitimately on how much weight you've added to your overlanding build. It's estimated at about 2.5", but could be closer to 3" if you're not running roof top tent, drawers, steel bumpers, winch, etc.
Sounds like you should flip a coin :tearsofjoy:
Personally, I purchased a used one, and they do pop up pretty frequently, and it was a little more than half of the new price. However, if I hadn't found the used one I probably would have just continued to use my Jetboil stove, as the Skottle...
Couldn't agree more! @Michael and @Corrie have definitely created an anomaly when it comes to an automotive forum, and I mean that in the best way possible!
