If he doesn’t have insurance, my insurance has to cover the accident. It also means I can’t sue him, my friend wanted to go after the bar next door for over serving but he found KY doesn’t allow that when he was starting to build the case (Perks of having friends from high school that went on to...
According to his booking in the jail one of the charges was “failure to produce insurance card” so I’m hoping he was just too drunk and he’s actually insured. Sucks I live in a no fault state.
Yeah, it’s less than ideal. Found its replacement though if it does get totaled out.
I’ve lived here for three years and for the first two years there were no issues. But now two cars have been totaled out front
They have them usually about once a month starting in the spring/summer and goes through the fall. Sometimes it’s awesome, sometimes its really boring.
I’ll actually be out in Shawnee exploring some more on Saturday but I appreciate it.
But either of those locations would be perfect they’ve got huge lots adjacent to them. Only other one I can think of would be Mad Tree since they have had Gears and Beers throughout the year.
How would you...
Been really bored as of late so I decided to build a few parts based on things I had seen on the forums and Facebook groups.
I originally said I wasn’t going to put a bunch of lights all over this thing but I figured some rear ditch lights wouldn’t be a bad thing to have. The bumper lights...
I got a little curious tonight and decided to get a baseline for my lights since I plan of working on upgrading them in the future (HID retrofit and led roof lights). Honestly I was a little surprised at how useless some were.
Low beams
Lows w/ fogs
Lows w/ fogs & ditch
High beams...
No, I got to leave that in place thankfully. I had to unbolt the top of fenders and pull them away so I could get to the bolts for the hood mount and these bolted on top. Only took about an hour but doing it in the cold was annoying
Thanks! It’s been fun!
Got my last Christmas present in the mail today so I went ahead and threw them on. There wasn’t any definitive proof if these mounts worked with the hood strut mod, but they do for the most part so I’m very pleased
Managed to convince a friend to use one of his vacation days to go out and do one of the various routes we’ve found in Southern OH. Only got about half of it done but we had an absolute blast (though it was muddier than we anticipated)
My rock sliders have a solid half inch of mud on them...
It always makes me happy to see father and son projects. My dad was never very mechanically inclined when I was growing up though he did teach me the basics (changing tires and batteries).
Looking forward to seeing what you guys accomplish together.
Couldn’t sleep last night so I decided to brave the 20 degree temps and do the rears. Cutting the bumper did not go as smoothly as I had hoped and I spent most of the time drilling holes around the outline since the Dremel was taking an eternity (Probably didn’t help that I couldn’t feel my...
Managed to get the fronts on, despite getting my butt kicked by the flu. These things are impressive, definitely worth the money for some peace of mind
Hopefully I’ll be feeling better by Monday to knock out the rears before I go run some trails later in the week.
They are specific to 2nd gen Xterras and Frontiers. The fronts bolt right up to the frame but the rears will require me to cut two slots in my rear bumper so they can attach to the frame.
Definitely will post up the plans once I finalize something. Trying to incorporate a way to easily switch...
