    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

I never said stupid, the fact that he was very intelligent actually backs up my statement. He would never have taken a risk if he could calculate a way around it. And Ted Bundy was very much a coward. His victims were women and girls, one at a time. He would have never been confrontational to an...

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

Criminals are cowards, there's very little chance even a team would risk robbery with a customer inside carrying a weapon. Or even a male customer inside in general.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Good thought, but I have both right and left side drop axles (newer Jeeps, older Jeeps, Chevys, ford's.). I've always assumed it was because the right side turns tighter on the street all of the time as compared to left hand turns. Just a theory.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I figured it was a little exaggeration, lol. Drove it today, checked it just because of your post. She's good. 3" suspension, 2" body, 35/12.50/15s on 3.5" back spaced steel rock wheels. Also check for bending regularly. She's getting a little long in the tooth, and will be getting a full front...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

All of my rigs wear out the right side. But my tie rods are still good at 240k. My wife's JKU on the other hand (not babied, but also not beet as hard as the TJ), eats front end parts. My buddy's Ram absolutely destroys the left side.

I would like to know what you were doing to need an alignment every time in the jeep. My TJ has never been out, and it's done some heavy rock crawling.

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

I don't carry daily, generally I pick and choose buy the type of trip we are doing. I always carry if we are going to camp, and /or hike. I carry an EAA Fab92 9mm, and keep a 12 gauge in camp.

Welcome. There's basically no gear required, Overlanding is a state of mind, your rig and gear are just tools to assist you in self exploration and adventure. I try hard not to get caught up in the pursuit of bling. Get out enjoy your rig and our beautiful world.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Almost zero difference on my 75 f100 on 35s with a 390. Driving conditions make a massive difference, and speed. I don't stand a chance in western Washington, too many big hills.
