Ordered this Timber Ridge instant tent. I needed something that is easy to set up for short trips and big enough for either just me or for me and my son. The Kodiak Canvas one we have is great, but it's just too big and heavy for small outings. It's very similar to the Gazelle tents, but 2'...
Mines not a gazelle, but similar type of tent (pop up), so it's about the same size when folded up.
For now, it fits behind the driver and passenger seat, but plan to secure it to the roofrack (once the rack arrives).
Look for a White 84' Landcruiser and a Runaway Venturist camper. I will be camping in the Field with a buddy and his Subaru with a RTT tent trailer. We will have a cold beer for ya! I will be flying the small OB Flag.
...quick and easy and something i can use boondocking and easily move around where needed. if friends join us and they need a fan out in their tent, i can easily hand this to them and theyre good to go. even found an inverter that is 110vac with usb ports AND cigarette lighter port for running...
Yup. That's how you do things right. Nice work.
I'm headed that way but it's going to take a minute. Ordered some buss bars and distribution blocks and picked up more wire today.
Thanks. Appreciate that.

I have really liked this solution of a rear switch panel. The work flow from the rear of the truck just makes a lot of sense when camping or airing up. Nice work! This is my panel and air chuck. The panel controls camp lights, awning light power, tent power and fridge plugs.
I'm late to the thread but here I go. I travel in a 2dr JK, that said I have found that when I decided to ditch my rack, hard cases , tent and removed my built in kitchen it forced me to prioritize what gear I needed to be happy and enjoy the journey.
I went from an hour set up time to I pull...
Bush tent and one of the awnings out. There are awnings on both isdes. This tent lifts itself and the awnings are so sturdy they don't require staking except in extreme winds.
Hi there, I have a jeep gladiator Mojave 2022 model looking for an awning. I have a nature nest clamshell tent I live in Florida. Would you be willing to part with it for 500?
Hey there, I have a 22 Jeep gladiator Mojave with a naturenest rooftop tent, rebel off-road rack, looking for a light awning that’s durable. Any recommendations?
...and they had lots of roof racks and accessories. I spoke to Jeffry, and he got me setup with a Frontrunner platform for my roof and a roof top tent. I installed everything myself, but I do know they also provide installation services. If you guys go to Rack Attack in the Santa Monica area...
Awesome tent! But it's getting hard to get the dog up and down. Comes with cross bars and traction boards. Only 4 mo old.

That looks really good. I just did not have it in me to rebuild the thing which is not typical of me. I hate rework with a passion. LOL
I bought the Decked system and installed it yesterday and it's magnificent. Worth every penny in my book and you know I hate these big spenders. Really. LMAO...
Not today, but lots of things going on over here.
Took the roof top tent off my Xterra, and put it on my wife's.
I also built the driver's side rack on the trailer, and got a jerry can mounted on it. I'm planning to start building the diesel heater box in october, and having it finished in...
...if its raining, i cant go in the back and wait out the storm, i have to go sit up in the cab. as you can see in the pic, we have a bathroom tent we take. im 6' and 215 lbs and with the tailgate up, i look like a circus bear trying to fit into one of those little cars when i try to slide in...
Answers to some questions about the tent, awnings, and their operation:
It is the Bush Company TX27 Max Hardshell. It is the sweetest, easiest tent imaginable! And it is durable! It withstands heavy winds and rain.

...for the buyer looking for a turn-key overlanding setup from day 1 that will last for years and years. Complete with a hydraulic jack and diesel tent heater. The price has now been reduced to $70,000, but that is a firm price- I would rather keep this beauty than sell for less.
