    Axle Swap Advice

With the wight of the over landing gear you don't want to be so tall that it becomes tippy. Also with the short arm front link system in the Jeep taller lifts can equal binding and loss of travel. Long arm replacements systems get expensive quick

    Pathfinder vs 4runner

I'd go more for condition maintenance and price at this point as those matter more then the model or year with vehicle 15+ years old.

    Axle Swap Advice

The 8.25 is a good axle and a 44 that will fit a Cherokee isn't much of an upgrade. For the 30 up front you have the high pinion but small u-joints (the first failure point on a D30) get some good axle shafts for a TJ (will have the bigger u joints) and keep your stocks as a spares. Biggest...

    Pathfinder vs 4runner

Pre 05 Pathfinders are unibody vehicles and very little aftermarket support the 05+ as very similar to the Frontier,Xterra and there are some good options for armor lift ECT but still not as popular as other options. the 4 runners are a great platform to build from with lots of resources parts...

    Memorial Day Weekend in Southeast?

Nice rig. My first advice is to pull the grill guard off they tend to multiply damage vs prevent it on the trails. Once i get moved into my new house I'd love to get together for some exploration and wheeling.

    2010 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X

OME makes some nice stuff another one to look into is PRG products Greg knows the frontier platform inside and out and can help build a custom suspension to your needs and goals. As for the breathers I think the trans and tcase are both sealed seperst units and need their own breathers.

The Illusion of Progress, 15 Tacoma build

Few detail photos The 30ft strap fits perfectly in the rear door cubby of the Tacoma keeping it clean and easy to get to. Also Something I think is a must on any rig that might see water crossings is the rear diff breather extension and with all the flooding we've had in SC the past few...

Thanks for checking out my build thread on my 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road Access Cab. The goal of this build is to have a back-county exploration rig and base camp for hiking mtb and general get away for it all that also still needs to be a truck capable of hauling custom furniture tools...

I'm just not getting back into the swing of things after being away from wheeling for the last 6 years and a move ago. What happened to all the true adventurers?

My big take away is while more people may be doing it for the gram fame there are a a fair number embracing the wanderlust that many of our parents didn't have. I was a lucky one getting to see most of the United Stated before I was 16. As recently as of a few weeks ago I have meet people in...
