Which ever tire I go with will be on a set of Icon Alloys so I’m not too concerned with fitting to the wheel. More concerned about the 33 fitting with the lift and I’ll be getting the aftermarket high clearance crash bar pieces.
Hey guys, without starting a new thread I have a question for the more experienced guys related to tires.
So for my build I am looking into WildPeak 265/70r17 AT3W or WildPeak 285/70r17 AT3W.
This is my train of thought regarding the two.
The 265 is a 31.9in tire @ $140ea with S and T...
Recently picked up quite a few things, starting off with little gear so a lot I have to get are basics. But the list is as follows;
Luggable Loo 5 Gal bucket with bio bags so we can just bury the mess- so I don't have to poop in a hole and the wife is comfortable going as well
Coleman 5 Gal...
I really like this idea, I have a cricut at home so I whipped this up and put it on. Its not perfect (missing the cord on the front over the hood, machine cuts it too thin to be useable) but I am happy with it. It is 6x6 in size, I am not a big fan of windshield stickers but could totally be put...
First DIY addition was put on today. Borrowed the idea from the Tacoma for a bed rail up front. So bought a Toyota rail, cut to size, drilled holes, RTVed (overkill) the holes and slapped it on. Once the GFC is installed I’ll mount my truck axe with some quick fist clamps up there for easy out...
2.3L. They do not offer the diesel in the states yet. The Colorado has Chevys Diesel engine and was the main point I was looking into Colorado’s at first.
Yes the suspension is a good chunk of change but I haven’t found another set up that gets me the same benefits like the increase travel...
Explored up near Trinity Lake today, took to basic truck photos but it really is a beautiful place. For sure going to go camping there in the future. Any word on a meet up in the future?
So little update! No big parts have come in yet, GFC will hopefully be later this year to pick up. However part of the camping gear came in so I am excited about getting to use it all. Took the Ranger up into the mountains for some exploring of camping spots before the snow became an issue. It...
Ahh yes! I did forget about sliders. Rocky Roads set of supersliders or kicker rocksliders will be needed.
I do have a skid plate underneath the front bumper. I haven't actually checked the rest of the underside for more. Nor have I looked into some. Thanks for the info!
Hey all!
So here's the thread for my 2019 Ford Ranger XLT FX4 build. It is going to be my adventuremodile/overlanding rig. So far nothings been added to the truck but I have a handful of parts planned out. Hopefully in a couple months I will be heading out to Montana to pick up my GoFastCamper...
Actually turns out I will be able to get the camper after all. So this post is no longer needed. But if you're looking into one they're looking at March 2021 currently.
Don't tell me you have the new Colorado as well! The 2019s was my first option for midsized but I am a ford guy and once I saw the new Rangers I had to try and fit inside one (I am 6'8 so size matters). Next thing I was walking out with a new truck.
