Added a Ricochet Off-road air dam to help with the wind noise from the RTT. Makes a huge difference at speeds over 60 MPH.

Great write up and pictures. We did almost the exact route in reverse last month, started at Titus and ended near Lone Pine. Beautiful country and lots to see!
Nice! The last trip I left the percolator at home and used instant coffee.....Wasn't horrible, but not ideal either. I'm going to check Amazon and put that on the list. Thanks for the info!
I just installed mine on an FJ stock rack with 2.5" of lift and 285/70/17's. The ladder is at max extension and just long enough. I'll probably order the extension to have a little more flexibility on uneven ground.
I've had pretty good success using a GoPro Session 4 (not image stabilized) on a small Joby tripod sitting on the dash with a small bungie cord holding it in place. Another suggestion is affixing one of the adhesive GoPro bases to the top of your side mirror, then you can turn the camera on...
