Is there a waiting list in the event that someone has to bail?

So you guys are meeting just outside of Downieville around 10:00-10:30pm Friday and rolling in at night?

We are out for this run... I thought it was an overnight originally but 11-12 hrs of driving today didn't get us out the door. I plan to make a weekend of this soon. I'll post the trip before we go to see if we can get a group.

Any idea how long of a ride?

What time do you guys expect to be to an ending point and what road? Not sure if we are still in now that we figured out it's just a day trip...

Lol, I just realized this is for Sunday and not Saturday and Sunday.. Is anyone going up Saturday and camping Saturday night?

I've got the same handheld and have been thinking about HAM... DO you have any more info on how to get licensed?

Anyone doing a late train? ... Downieville is 4 hrs from here, the wife won't agree to leaving at 5am. Maybe 11-12 from the town center?

I'm flying to Denver and riding a motorcycle back... Otherwise I would totally be in!

Carrol Hollow was great! We made it just fine in our Stock ML430, plenty of camping spots. Cool nights and amazing views! Caught up with ToyotaPro and talked a bit. We also headed down slick rock but turned around where the rock ramp with a ~3ft drop was ;-)

There will be four of us headed up, my wife I in our silver ML430 and two friends in a ford Ranger (one will be taking her suzuki DRto practice dirt riding). We'll be leaving from PA around 10am. We hope to find you! Also, which way do you recommend heading in? We've never been there before...

We were planning on heading to Carroll hollow Saturday morning, camping and coming back Sunday...
