About to go put the new hitch and shackle set up on. Instructions say if you are a novice it should take about an hour. I guess I will find out my mechanic level
I dont believe ALL patriots come with the 4wd lock. From my understanding, it's not a TRUE locker. But it's a better option I guess. No engine braking. However i can switch it to manual mode and turn off the stability control and traction control for more control.
When we bought this, we were looking for a vehicle with 5 seats, and a 4wd lock option over the standard AWD. And it had to be within the budget of the given time. I found myself enjoying this vehicle more each day.
Since my wife and I have purchased our Patriot, we have been planning and determining what will work best for our family of 5. I know alot of people start with lift and large tires, however, this is also a daily driver. I started with tires. Falken Wildpeak at3w's. I have a history with them...
Last night I ordered some crossbars and a roof rack. Picked up some roof rack boxes last night as well. Looking forward to posting pics when I get them on.
Hey all, I'm looking at putting an ARB compressor in my patriot. Has anyone else done this? I'm looking for suggestions and ideas before I fully commit.
Thanks
After a quick visit to the local shop, they let me know exactly which sensor it is that was bad. Ordered it and picked it up that afternoon. Installation was easy enough to do in my garage with no problems. Now it's back to buy the mods to get back out to the outdoors.
