    We will shoot for Holcomb Valley campground on the way in. There’s a few other yellow post sites with fire pits as well. The ring is a good idea just in case but I’m hellbent on a real fire lol

    Thanks Camilo. I have used All Trails in the past but find Trails OffRoad to be better for Overland/Off-Road excursions and then Gaia to plan the route. I'll definitely look up that route and campsite.

    thanks - I am thinking we will use this route to get to Big Bear and then go into town for lunch. After lunch, do a couple trails to find camp and then call it a day. Wake up Sunday, start on Smart's Ranch and then head to Pioneer Town. Think that'll work?

    I’d say mild challenge; 2-4 So far- Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Jk Rubicon two door 2018 Tacoma Another mostly stock vehicle I think. I don’t have my sliders yet and not looking to damage doors but otherwise I’m good to go.

    It looks like Grapevine Cyn. is really washed out so that may be a little much. The other thought was Coxey Rd. or Rattlesnake Cyn. Thoughts on either of those?
