Those are good months for the Colorado Rockies. The famous trails around the San Juan mountains would be near the top of my list.
The Canyonlands of Utah would also be near the top, but just be mindful those will be the hot months.
You can also stay on the dirt between those areas on trails...

Whenever I attempt to record a track offline, I always end up stuck watching the preparing for adventure loading screen. I'm always too busy hiking or driving to be able to see if I can figure anything out. I once let it go on for like an hour before I closed it...
Okay, but if you care for any advice from someone who has led several RP events, you'll probably gain more traction after creating a rally point because of the visibility it creates. My $.02.
