Planning a trip to run the Eagle Peak trail up above Pinecrest Lake. I will be camping in Eagle Meadows about an hour away so it will be a day trip from camp for me.

Lots of places to dispersed camp along 4N12 as well as in Eagle meadows. Anyone interested could parley this trail run into a weekend of camping. If there is Interest there is also the Niagara Rim trail in Eagle meadow about 45 min drive from Trail of the Gargoyles - Back down 4N12 to Hwy 108...
Depends on where you are coming from, if you want make the drive to the starting location, run the trail and go home the same day. Lot's of dispersed camping opportunities in this area. I will be camping at a spot about an hour away for the weekend.
