I think most lithium batteries are compatible with RedArc BCDC chargers. If you regularly see temps below 0 degrees F, especially when camping/overlanding, I look at the LiTime batteries with an internal heater. Or any higher quality heated lithium battery.
How cold are you talking? There are LiFePo4 batteries that will charge down to -4F now. LiTime comes to mind. They also have self-heating options. I would think your RedArc would keep you from changing a cold battery. Also, if you need to charge it on a really cold day/night, since it will be in...
I am curious what lighting you all have put in and on your rigs. I am working on building out a couple vehicles and am working on wiring and auxiliary power. I would like to do some future proofing while at this stage.
The vehicle that I am putting the most work into right now is a Jeep Grand...

Thank you. I had not considered the height issues. I like the idea of using a hiking/backpacking air pad, but my wife would like something thicker. I am probably not going to be able to kill two birds with one stone, and will end up with separate solutions for sleeping in and out of the Grand.
I am looking to purchase an air mattress to use in the back of the WJ (2001 Grand Cherokee). My wife and I may end up using it outside of the Jeep too.
Does anyone have experience with the Pittman Outdoors AirBedz? Or have any other recommendations?
Bought a new rig this afternoon. 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I spent several hours driving around getting used to it. Now it is time to start making plans to upgrade it.
Last thing of significance was a Champion all aluminum radiator, electric fans, and aluminum shroud. My next shopping cart will likely hold either tires or weather stripping for the doors and windows, door jamb switches, replacement cab floor pans, and properly sized gas cap.
You are probably not going to find it in an overlanding rig, but I recently read that there are some vehicles, BMW(?), that have lasers in the wheel wells that track tire size and automatically adjust the speedometer.
